Claudia Medina Lopez has completed two master's degrees in Gender Studies and Gender, Violence and Conflicts; this last one was obtained at the University of Sussex – UK. She has been accepted to develop her PhD studies at the University of Sussex. She has plenty of experience working as an independent consultant and researcher in the Peruvian State – like the Peruvian Ministry of Woman and Vulnerable Populations - and Academia – Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. Currently, she is an Expert in Gender for UNICEF Peru. She is in charge of the "Development and Gender" course of the Executive Master in Development's Policies and Practices of the Institut de Hautes Études Internationales et du Dévelopment (IHEID) Geneve, for Latinamerica.
