Biography

Her areas of specialization include: Gender & Sexuality, Interpersonal Dynamics, Diversity and Relational Challenges. She is a Psychologist and Florida Board Certified Clinical Sexologist. She is the Editor of Interweaving Tapestries of Sexuality & Culture; author of Love & Sex: The Basics and Questioning Caribbean Jewish Identity, and co-author of the upcoming Language, Race & the Global Jamaican. Dr. Carpenter is the host of Love & Sex for radio and television. Her research interests include: gender & human sexuality; psycholinguistics; phenomenology.

Dr. Carpenter is also the Director for The Caribbean Sexuality Research Group (CSRG) free Sexology Clinic, at the University Hospital of The West Indies.
