Refund/Cancellation Policy

By registering for GSS 2026, participants agree to the following terms and conditions. We encourage all delegates to review these policies carefully to ensure a smooth conference experience.

1. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. To request a cancellation, please submit your request in writing via email to the Conference Secretary.

90+ Days Prior to Event: Cancellations received more than 90 days before the conference start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $100 processing fee.

Within 90 Days of Event: Cancellations made within the 90-day window are non-refundable. However, your registration fee can be fully transferred to a future edition of the event.

Refund Processing: Please note that all approved refunds will be processed during the second week following the successful completion of the conference.

2. Registration Transfers

Deadline: You may transfer your registration to a colleague or a future event at any time until May 18, 2026.

Final Cut-off: Transfer requests received after May 18, 2026, cannot be processed.

3. Event Alterations & Force Majeure

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the program, dates, or venue at any time.

Unforeseeable Circumstances: The Refund/Cancellation Policy does not apply in cases of "Force Majeure," including natural disasters, strikes, terrorism, or other unpredictable activities beyond the organizers' control.

Postponement: If the event is postponed due to such circumstances, registrations remain valid for the new dates or future editions. In these instances, the organizer will facilitate the transfer of registration and accommodation charges to a future event.

Liability: The organization is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from substitutions, alterations, or cancellations due to causes beyond its control.

4. General Terms & Conditions

Stay Updated: While we aim to alert all ticket holders of major changes via the website, delegates are responsible for checking the official event page for the latest updates prior to the conference.

Safety & Property: The organizers do not accept liability for personal injuries or for the loss/damage of personal property belonging to delegates during or as a result of the conference.

Sole Discretion: The organization holds the sole discretion to cancel the conference in cases of unavoidable circumstances, with no further liability to the client beyond providing suitable alternative arrangements.
